Two teenagers die in superbike accident

Two teenagers on a high-powered motorcycle died after the machine skidded and crashed into the road divider at Persiaran Dato' Menteri, Section 6, here Saturday.
Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat said Muhammad Asyraf Mohd Naizie and Muhammad Fudail Mazlin, both 16, were fourth formers at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah here.
He said according to eyewitness, the BMW S1000RR motorcycle ridden by Muhammad Asyraf was on the right side of the road and was said to have been speeding before losing control and crashed into the road divider.
The impact of the crash caused the two boys to be thrown onto the road and died on the spot, he said when contacted.
The bodies were taken to Shah Alam Hospital for post mortem.
Shafien said initial investigation revealed that they had borrowed the motorcycle from a friend. -- Bernama
