Two teens feared drowned in Pantai Rhu, one rescued

They have been identified as Mohd Naim Adnan, of Kampung Seri Bengkal in Batu Pahat; and, Mohd Wafiq Mohd Nor, of Kampung Seri Bengkal, Mukim 6, Parit Yaani in Yong Peng.

According to Fire and Rescue Department senior officer Karomi Nordin, another student, Ahmad Izad Shahruddin, 17, was however, rescued by the public and sent to the Setiu Hospital for observation.

He said firemen reached the site about 10am, where the two students had disappeared while swimming.
