The Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (MOCM) has identified two websites which are spreading the ideology of Daish militant group in this country.
Its deputy minister, Datuk Jailani Johari said the two websites, the Dabiq and Rumiyah online magazines could influence Malaysian youths to join Daesh.
"I have instructed the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to block access to these websites," he said when opening SMK Matang Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) annual general meeting, here Saturday.
Children who did not feel loved by their parents were easily influenced by Daish ideology since they spent a lot of time surfing the internet.
He urged the parents to monitor the movement of their children so as not to be obsessed with the internet by having more virtual friends than real friends. --Bernama
