Two workers sustain burns in warehouse blaze

Two workers of a plywood warehouse sustained 80 per cent burns when the 2,000 sq ft premises at the old jetty here caught fire early today.
Penang Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Mohd Faizman Che Amat said the men, in their 40s, were warded at the Seberang Jaya Hospital.
He said upon receiving a distress call at 3.16am, the department dispatched its first fire engine from the Butterworth Fire and Rescue Station to the location.
"After arriving at the warehouse four minutes later, a warehouse employee informed the firemen that the two victims were still inside the premises," he said here today.
