Two-year-old girl found naked, malnourished

A two-year-old girl, abandoned by her parents, was found without a thread on her back, at a home in Sungai Buloh, Selangor in a disheveled state, confused and weak due to malnutrition.

Community Policing founder Kuan Chee Heng reported the incident and are now looking for the girl's mother, 17-year-old Lai Xi Zin.

Xi Zin had allegedly left the toddler with her 14-year-old sister, who is believed to be mentally challenged.

As of today, there was no news on the mother.

Chee Heng Yang, a former policeman, said the girl is currently being taken care of by a relative.

Community Policing or COPS is an independent body set up to combat social problems, in addition to working with the police in a bid to combat crime.
