KUALA LUMPUR:UMNO President, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the party's direction after the Sabah State Election (PRN) will be discussed in the UMNO Political Bureau and subsequently raised in the party's Supreme Council (MT).
He said this was an important question, thus it was not appropriate to talk or decide on it without mutual consent.
"We are conducting a comprehensive post-mortem (and all) party leaders can give their views," he said in a tweet on his Twitter account on Wednesday in response to his deputy, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
Earlier, Mohamad who is UMNO Deputy President urged Ahmad Zahid to explain the guidelines and clear direction to all members related to the party's cooperation with political rivals.
He said a firm political consensus should be produced to alleviate the anxiety, dissatisfaction and anger of members towards the way UMNO was treated in the Sabah PRN.
