The decision whether UMNO deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will make a winding-up speech at the general assembly of the party will only be known after the UMNO Supreme Council (MT) special meeting on Dec 9.

Tengku Adnan also advised the debaters to maintain harmony by not hurting the feelings of UMNO members and the other races.
He said that based on the screening of the motions at the divisional level, 90 per cent had raised problems in the economic field, religion and education.
The UMNO general assembly from Dec 8 to 12 will be participated by 5,738 delegates comprising 2,762 delegates for the main general assembly, 993 for the Wanita Umno meeting, 992 (Youth) and 991 (Puteri).
Various side events are also being held throughout the assembly including the Entrepreneurship Symposium, oratory competition for the president's cup, and the launching of the UMNO sports logo.
