UMNO receives list of candidates for consideration

SEREMBAN: All state UMNO liaison committees have submitted their list of 15th general election (GE15) candidates for consideration, said UMNO deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

He said not all listed candidates would be selected as GE15 candidates.

"This is the first round, we acknowledge the nominated list, The headquarters would evaluate the candidates and not only the people listed would be evaluated.

"For the party, victory is our top priority. If the candidate can deliver us a win, we will let him represent the party," he told reporters after the Negeri Sembilan UMNO liaison committee meeting here today.
