Muhammad Ridzuan Abdullah who is caught in a custody battle with his ex-wife M. Indira Gandhi, is seeking funds for his legal expenses.
Muhammad Ridzuan, who is formerly known as K. Pathmanathan, told PAS’s mouthpiece Harakahdaily that he is currently unemployed and does not have the money to foot his legal fees.
He is appealing for donation to fight his case at the Court of Appeal for the custody of all his children.
In 2009, the Shariah High Court in Ipoh had given Muhammad Ridzuan the custody of the couple’s three children, whom he had converted to Islam without the knowledge of their mother.
However, the Ipoh High Court had in 2010, ordered the children to be returned to Indira, a kindergarten teacher.
But, despite the ruling, a court order and an arrest warrant, Muhammad Ridzuan had refused to return their youngest daughter, Prasana Diksa, whom he has been raising since she was 11-months old.
Prasana is now six-years-old.
Muhammad Ridzuan also told Harakahdaily that he missed his two older children Tevi Darsiny, 16, Karan Dinish, 15. He claimed that the two children wanted to live with him and not their mother.
“They were close to me and the last time we met, I had taken them to McDonalds. They were very happy and had also asked me why I did not take them along to be with their youngest sibling,” he told the tabloid.
