KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education is reviewing and reorganising the political literacy education programmes to attract the interest of youths, following the implementation of Undi18.

Deputy Minister Adam Adli Abdul Halim said in order to achieve political understanding among the group, the ministry would ensure that the concepts, modules, approaches and strategies of the programmes are interesting and fresh.

"The literacy programme is to produce quality voters with critical thinking who see politics through objective lenses.

"For me, this political education is a matter of the national constitution, the jurisdiction of a member of Parliament or a member of the State Legislative Assembly because we want to produce Madani society that understands the function and role of the government as well their role as voters," he told Bernama after appearing as a guest on Bernama Radio today.
