Unisza staff feared missing at sea

A personnel of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (Unisza) is feared missing after his fibreglass boat is believed to have overturned off Pantai Teluk Ketapang here yesterday.

The victim Wan Abdul Manan Wan Ahmad, 49, was reported missing after he did not return home at 10 pm after going out fishing alone at 6.30 pm yesterday.

According to his wife Kasiah Harun, 42, normally her husband would return from fishing before 8 pm.

"I called him more than 10 times on his handphone but he did not reply. I called again at 10 pm but there was no line," she said when met here today.

"My husband often passed out lately but did not respond when I told him to see the doctor. I often told him not to go to sea in the current uncertain weather," she added. - BERNAMA
