Unofficial: Mas Ermieyati loses, Sulaiman and Adly leading in seats

KUALA LUMPUR: Based on unofficial results, Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh has knocked out Perikatan Nasional’s Chief Minister candidate Mas Ermieyati Samsuddin in Tanjung Bidara.
Rauf leads with 3,558 votes while Mas Ermieyati polled 3,195 votes. Pakatan Harapan’s Zainal Hassan looks set to lose his deposit with 489 votes.
BN’s Chief Minister candidate Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali leads in Lendu with 3,293 votes. The former Chief Minister has a wide lead against PN and PH's candidates, polling 908 and 777 votes, respectively.
Meanwhile, Pakatan Harapan Chief Minister candidate Adly Zahari leads in Bukit Katil with 4,041 votes as at 7.30pm. His closest rival from BN Datuk Hasnoor Husin polled 3,757 votes. PN’s Muhammad Al Afiz Yahya polled 2,396 votes while Independent Abdul Hamid Mustapah garnered 81 votes.
The Melaka election was held following the dissolution of the State Legislative Assembly on Oct 4 after four assemblymen withdrew their support for Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali.
