UPSR: Don't forget to thank your parents and teachers - PM Najib

A total of 4,896 of the 452,721 pupils who sat for the test secured Grade A in all subjects.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has conveyed his congratulations to the pupils who achieved excellence in the 2016 Primary School Assessment Test (UPSR), the results of which were announced today.
"Congratulations to those who obtained excellent results in the 2016 UPSR. Don't forget to thank your parents and teachers.
"If your results are less satisfactory, work harder," he said in a post on his Twitter account.

Director-General of Education Tan Sri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof, in announcing the 2016 UPSR results, said 4,896 of the 452,721 pupils who sat for the test secured Grade A in all subjects.
This year's candidates are the first cohorts who sat for the test under the new UPSR format in line with the implementation of the Primary School Standard Curriculum which also emphasises elements of the Higher Order Thinking Skills.
