HUSM cardiologist Prof Datuk Dr Zulkurnain Yusof said Mohamad Kazim had his first heart attack.
He said Mohamad Kazim underwent heart treatment yesterday as one of his arteries was blocked.
Dr Zulkurnain said the preacher is not allowed to conduct any ‘ceramah’ for the next six weeks.
In a press conference held in HUSM today morning, Mohamad Kazim said he is in a stable condition but he needs a lot of rest.
The popular preacher was admitted to HUSM after complaining of fatigue and chest pain while delivering a talk in Bachok at 9.30 pm on Friday.
Kazim was 10 minutes into his ceramah on Friday when he had to apologise in front of a crowd of 2,000 people after complaining of exhaustion.
