The owner of Maahad Tahfiz Darul Barakah, Datuk Mohammad Kazim Elias denied the allegation that some students in his school had been molested.
He said an internal probe revealed that no such incident had taken place, as what had been claimed on social media.
The independent speaker, popularly known as Ustaz Kazim, said Maahad Tahfiz Darul Barakah was equipped with closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) everywhere and the chance of any such incident happening was almost non-existent.
“We have our own student observers to monitor the daily activities and occurrences. We have never had any such incident happening at the school since its inception in 2009.
“If any such incident did happen, then expose it. Show proof. But I don’t think this is the case. I think there is someone somewhere unsatisfied about something, and they want to put me and my school in a bad light,” Ustaz Kazim told Astro AWANI when contacted today.
He said, it was an individual right to lodge a police report and he was leaving it to the police to investigate the matter.
Ustaz Kazim, at the same time, urged netizens to not make the issue viral on social media without checking for truth as it could jeopardise innocent students.
