PUTRAJAYA: A total of 1.4 million individuals who have registered to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine through the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) using the MySejahtera application were asked to complete their registration.
The Coordinating Minister of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program, Khairy Jamaluddin, said the matter was important to facilitate matters, especially in making appointments involving the nearest vaccination center.
According to him, MySejahtera faced difficulties in scheduling the appointment as it failed to complete data such as answering questions related to health assessment and entering their latest address.
"We understand, they only confirmed the name and identity card number but did not answer questions related to health assessment and enter their respective addresses, causing their registration to be incomplete.
“It is important to enter the address because we will give an appointment at the Vaccination Center (PPV) nearest to the address entered during registration. We do not take the address on the identity card because many do not sit at the address as stated in the identity card, "he said at the weekly PICK press conference here, on Monday.
In the meantime, Khairy said, his team will send a reminder to the group via short message system (SMS) starting this afternoon.
“We have asked MySejahtera for the impact of those who failed to complete the information as required in the application and sent an SMS as a reminder for them to update their information starting this afternoon.
"We hope that those who have not yet done so to continue to complete the information to facilitate the process in the future," he said.
