Van ferrying back KL flood relief volunteers overturns, one seriously injured

One person was seriously injured when a van ferrying back 10 Federal Territory Umno flood relief volunteers from Pasir Mas skidded and overturned at KM 327 Jalan Kuala Lumpur- Kota Baharu near Sega, Raub at 4.30am today.

Raub acting police chief DSP Abdul Rahim Abdul Razak told Bernama, Maizal Ashwad, 42, who fractured his legs, has been admitted at the Kuala Lipis Hospital while seven others who suffered minor injuries received outpatient treatment at the same hospital.

He said the van skidded out of control before hitting the road divider and overturning.
