Vantage Point: Dr Jeff Halper, co-founder and Director of Israeli Committee Against House Demolition

This week on Vantage Point, Kamarul Bahrin Haron sits down with Dr. Jeff Halper, co-founder and Director of Israeli Committee Against House Demolition, an NGO founded in 1997 to help resist Israel’s strategy of house demolitions in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

Dr Halper talks about “reframing” the Israeli-Palestine conflict, which he believes is important for effective advocacy. Reframing counters Israel’s claim that its policies are based on security concerns/terrorism and presents the Occupation as a pro active policy for which Israel should be held accountable.
