Mabul Island in Sabah is one of the best diving spots in the world. The island is also home to many immigrants from the nearby Sulu province and the sea gypsies known as Bajau Laut.

Most of the children on the island do not have documentations and birth certificates. As such, they are without access to public education and state sponsored healthcare.

In this episode, Cynthia Ng speaks with diving instructor and budget resort owner, Stanley Sie who is striving to provide a better future for these children through The Mabul School of Hope.
