Victim of workers' bus accident buried

The remains of Noriah Kasa, 40, who died in the factory bus accident in Juru today, was buried at the Sungai Dungun Muslim cemetery near here at about 6.05pm.
Earlier, funeral prayers for the deceased were held at the Sungai Dungun Masjid Jamek led by the imam of the mosque, Samsudin Ahmad.
The victim's elder sister, Rosnah, 50, said Noriah, who was the second of five siblings, was a single mother who was very responsible for the wellbeing of her three children.
She said that Noriah wanted to see her youngest child, Zarul Haziq Zuryanidufizan, 12, to achieve his ambition to become a religious teacher but her wish was dashed following the accident.

"Last Sunday, all the siblings had gathered here for the school holidays and that was the last time we met and had a meal together with Noriah,"she said when met at her house in Kampung Parit Sungai Dungun, here.
The accident occurred at KM147 of the North-South expressway, northbound, near the Juru Toll Plaza at 5.30pm today which killed eight people. -- Bernama
