Astro Publication 01/12/2014 | 09:35 MYT

Today, Beckham released a charity t-shirt printed with the ribbon logo for World AIDS Day. Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has now made her mark on the political world stage. Appointed the UNAIDS Global Goodwill Ambassador in late September this year, she is living up to her role. The first of December is dedicated to raising awareness about AIDS, honour those who have lost their lives to AIDS and to achieve an AIDS free generation by 2030. Beckham visited Cape Town in South Africa and her visit there gave her the inspiration to raise awareness for those suffering from this disease.

Selling for £90 (RM 483.40), all of the proceeds made from this sale will be given to the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS. Merging her fashion label with her commitment to the UN, Beckham is using her public profile and fame to raise funds for a cause that she feels strongly about. As both a woman and mother, Beckham says she feels like she has a responsibility to raise awareness and help the UN in ending the AIDS epidemic.

This limited edition t-shirt will be available at Victoria Beckham Diver Street Store in London as well as online at www.victoriabeckham.com.
