Vida Beauty founder pleads guilty to GST offences
The founder and owner of Vida Beauty Sdn Bhd admitted before judge Murtazadi Amran to committing the offences between April 2015 and July 2016.
Cosmetics millionaire Datuk Seri Dr Hasmiza Othman or 'Dr Vida' pleaded guilty in the Sessions Court here today to 16 counts of failing to submit her goods and services tax (GST) returns.
The founder and owner of Vida Beauty Sdn Bhd admitted before judge Murtazadi Amran to committing the offences between April 2015 and July 2016.
The charge under Section 41(6) of the GST Act 2014, carries a maximum fine of RM50,000 or three years jail or both, on conviction.
