The police will scrutinise the contents of Seputeh Member of Parliament Teresa Kok's video clip laced with political satire and innuendos to determine whether it was seditious or defamatory.
The clip, 'Onederful Malaysia CNY 2014 Video Clip' was uploaded on January 27 and circulated widely on Facebook.
Internal Security and Public Order director, Datuk Seri Salleh Mat Rasid said the relevant action would be taken against Kok (if she had committed an offence on the video).
He was speaking to reporters after a dialogue session with Kampung Seri Jaya Gading residents during 'Ops Selamat IV', in conjunction with the Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations here on Sunday.
The 11.39-minute video portrayed Kok as a feng shui host interviewing three panelists regarding the CNY and their feng shui predictions.
The panelists in the video poked fun on a variety of issues such as the current education system in Malaysia, and the issue of terrorist intrusion in Sabah last year, among others.
