Former vocalist of a popular 90s group was arrested at his residence in Keramat has been detained in arrested for drug abuse.
The 43-year-old vocalist was arrested along with a 33-year-old woman, who was also tested positive of methaphitamine at approximately 12.30am, Wednesday.
The singer was detained under Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 15 (1) (a) of Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
According to source, the singer 's home was raided by the Ampang Jaya Criminal Investigation Division District he was detained.
Police confiscated a 1.2gramm-plastic package suspected containing heroine from his home.
Early investigation, he admitted for being involved in drug activities for the last 10 years.
