RASUAH Busters' newest video series showcases the hope of the future through the eyes of our children.

Themed “Merdekakan Kami Daripada Rasuah” (Liberate us from Corruption), the four videos share a heartfelt call through a multi-racial lens expressing the hopes and dreams of a better Malaysia.

The messages are a child’s prayer and reaches out to Malaysia’s multi-religious spectrum, as enshrined in the first principle of our Rukun Negara.

Each video features Said Faleeq Mohd Fareez, Kimi Ng Yee Bin, Krishan a/l Ganapathy and Dayna Leia Soliano Rozells, sharing their wishes for a future which is corruption free, and a world where transparency rules, where honesty is a value engrained in our lives.

Their narratives, conveyed in their own simplistic and innocent interpretations, ends with a reminder that retribution awaits us all if we wrong the world.

Dato' Hussamuddin Yaacub, who is leading the Rasuah Busters  movement with a Coalition of Willing made up of over 200 independent organisations, says, “It is though the eyes of our children we are reminded of our frailties and shortcomings. But the sin of corruption destroys everything we want to build for our generations to come.”

“Merdekakan Kami Daripada Rasuah” echoes the heroic achievements of our forefathers and emboldens us to believe that we can fight the war on corruption if we come together.

“I also pray with the children so that our nation heals from the plague of corruption and the future will be as bright as can be for all of us, regardless of race or religion,” adds Datuk Hussamuddin.

The campaign also brings a dash of much needed inspiration during our time of uncertainty with COVID and the politics of the day.
