Volvo is putting efforts on bicyclist safety

All Volvo cars are equipped with safety technologies that not only look after the passengers’ safety but even for pedestrian safety as well, now Volvo Car Malaysia takes extra initiative on taking care of Malaysian bicyclists.

Volvo partnered up with authorised dealer Clear Marque Sdn Bhd and Go Sportz Sdn Bhd, the organisers of the RHB-Shimano Highway Ride, to launch the Volvo Life Paint. The paint is made in collaboration with Albedo100, a unique water-based reflective spray that is invisible by daylight but glows brightly under the direct glare of car headlights, increasing the visibility of cyclists at night.

The launch of the Volvo Life Paint was held in conjunction with the RHB-Shimano Highway Ride, a night cycling event which sees the participation of over 3000 cyclists from 16 countries in attendance. The event is the perfect opportunity to show case Volvo’s innovative technologies that were developed to increase the safety of cyclists on the road.

Customers can purchase or pre-order the Volvo Life Paint throughout the event exclusively with Volvo’s authorised dealer, Clear Marque Sdn Bhd, priced at RM110 inclusive of GST.

Volvo also took the opportunity to launch the Volvo V40 Adventure Package which features useful accessories aimed at Volvo owners with an active lifestyle. V40 owners will now get to bling up their cars with frame-mounted bicycle holders, load carriers, bumper dirt covers and load compartment mats.
