"V!VA", Astro AWANI's latest news platform, comes alive tonight!

Astro AWANI is launching its new web-only news programme, "V!VA". The show will begin Aug 25 at 9pm, and will air every Monday to Friday.

V!VA aims to explain news to the audience in the most effective manner. "Since we now live in a world with too much information and too little context, the need for news to be provided in a contextualized version is more crucial than ever," says V!VA producer, Luqman Hariz.

In V!VA, Astro AWANI's journalists bring together a collection of the biggest news of the day to ensure that audience stay informed on what's relevant amid today's fast-paced world.

V!VA presenter Ibrahim Sani says: "Gone are the days of the half-hour sit-down bulletins. Our pledge is to ensure that V!VA is packaged as a five-minute bulletin. If we can achieve what we need to in less that five minutes, that's even better."
