VW has sold all their limited edition Beetles!

If you had your eye of one of Volkswagen’s limited edition Beetles, bad news because they’re all sold out! After so many years, the Beetle is still very popular amongst Malaysians, not only was the standard Beetle selling well in the market, the limited editions was also easily snapped up!

Volkswagen Malaysia introduced the Beetle Bug edition in April 2015 and only 200 units were available for sale. Priced at RM146,888, the Beetle Bug comes with side sills, side decals, racing and body stripes embellishments with the Bug logo. This version sold out in September.

The Beetle Club edition was only just introduced in August, with only 50 units for sale, the cars were quickly booked up by Beetle enthusiasts, eager to own a unit of the sporty Beetle. The Beetle Club is CBU from Mexico and was sold at RM152,888 complete with stylish 17-inch Ravenna alloy wheels and text decal with “Club” lettering on the steering wheel, side sill with chrome stripes and leather sports seats.

Pleased with the sales of the Volkswagen Beetles, Mr Armin Keller, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia said that “The Beetle on its own is an Icon and the past 60 years of presence in Malaysia is proof. With every limited edition, Volkswagen aims to engage and excite Beetle fans. With that said, fans and customers should keep an eye out for the next limited edition which could be coming soon – another reason to get excited about.”

If you are the lucky few who managed to snap up one of these limited edition Beetles then good for you! But if you did not manage to, don’t worry, let’s hope that VW Malaysia brings in another limited edition Beetle just for you all!
