For wanting to take second wife, Kelantan man slashed by wife

A 55-year-old man incurred the wrath of his wife when he expressed his desire to take on a second wife.

Upon hearing his desire, the 56-year-old wife picked up a knife used to cut vegetables and slashed her husband on his head, hands and forehead.

The incident took place in Kampung Manek Urai Lama, Kelantan.

The man who later sought medical attention at Manek Urai clinic, received 15 stitched.

Kuala Krai district deputy police chief Supt Zulkarnain Ismail Al Haj who confirmed the incident said the victim did not lodge a police report.
