14 beautiful ladies vie for the coveted crown of Miss Universe Malaysia 2016! Out of these finalists only one will be crowned in January to represent the country in the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. The contestants are put through the test and will attend a beauty camp to be groomed and trained in various areas including catwalk, public speaking, fitness, acting, styling and even photo shoots.

To reach a greater online audience and increase viewership, the entire competition and the process of these ladies will be captured and broadcasted on YouTube in a series of 31 webisodes. Fans can vote for their favourite contestant using the The Next Miss Universe Malaysia mobile app available for free at the App Store and Google Play.

Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 will be crowned in January at the Palace of Golden Horses Hotel. The Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 finalists are Alicia Tan, Ariessa Lam, Cindy Ng, Dhivya Dhyana, Hazelin Ng, Jennifer Ling, Kiran Jassal, Lina Soong, Loveena Ruben, Nisha Sema, Rema Rao, Chow Shiat Teen, Swarna Naidu and Yeoh Yen Nee.
