Several areas in Seremban, Jempol, Tampin, Gemencheh and Rembau will experience water supply disruption tomorrow as a result of pipe relocation works and water treatment plant maintenance.
Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (Sains) Corporate Service Division head Azlan Abdul Aziz said the disruption will take place from 9am tomorrow until 9am the following day (Nov 7) in Seremban, affecting the whole of Seremban town,
Temiang, Templer, Lobak, Jalan Rasah, Mambau, Batu 1-5 Jalan Kuala Sawah, Jalan Za'ba, Jalan Rahang and Jalan Labu Lama.
"In Jempol, water disruption will be from 10am to 10pm involving Felda Sungai Lui and Felda Lui Barat. Meanwhile, Tampin is expected to experience disruption from 8am to 8pm involving Kampung Keru, Taman Repah, Kampung Repah, Kampung Seri Repah, the Repah industrial area and Taman Gunung Mas.
"Other areas include the Gunung Mas industrial area, Taman Woon, Taman Bahagia, Taman Tampin, Kampung Baru, Kampung Tampin Tengah, the new Tampin Hospital, Kampung Dusun, Taman Tampin Jaya, Rumah Rakyat Repah, Kampung Kolam Air, Taman Bukit Tampin, Taman Sri Berlian and Taman Rasa Sayang," he said here today.
Azlan said water supply in Gemencheh will also be disrupted at the same time (8am-8pm) affecting Taman Orkid, Taman Gembira, Taman Gemencheh Baru, Ladang Regent, Taman Regent, Taman Muhibbah, the Batang Melaka area and Kampung Punggor.
Meanwhile, Rembau is scheduled to face water supply disruption from 8am to 8pm, involving Kendong, Kota, Gadong, Legung Ulu, Legung Hilir, Bongek, Chengkau, Nerasau, Penajis, Miku, Selemak, Astana Raja, Semerbok, Kampung Durian Daun, Kampung Pulau Besar, Kampung Pulau Bukit, Kampung Pulau Mampat, Kampung Fajar Harapan, Kampung Batang Nyamor, Kampung Chenong Ulu and Kampung Lada.
In addition, the sub-district of Tanjung Kerling, Batu Hampar, Taman Seri Rembau, Kampung Chuai, Rembau town, Sena Ulu and Hilir, Kampung Rendah Kayu Ara, Senama, Desar Permai Mampong, Kampung Mampong, Pertronas Rembau, Shell Rembau, Rembau District Office, Rembau District Council, Kampung Mulia, Kampung Seberang Sawah, Kampung Perigi Jernih and Kampung Tebing Tinggi will also face supply disruption.
Azlan said water supply will be restored after the stated time and will be done in stages.
However, he said several high-lying areas are expected to experience disruption as full restoration will take time.
