Gombak District Police Chief, ACP Arifai Tarawe said the premises is located at Jalan Velox 2, about 300 meters from the plant and the scheduled waste found has not been disposed off.
According to him, initial investigation found the premises had only been operating for two weeks and is believed to be used for storing waste.
"We tracked the solvent odor found in IWK that led us to this premises.
“There is a premises that is rented as a store to keep the materials that are believed to be disposed off.
"From the preliminary investigation, the way they dispose off this liquid waste is by dumping it it in a sewage hole. This is what flows into the IWK plant, overflowing and causing the Selangor River to be polluted,” he said.
