Consumers in several areas in Port Dickson, Seremban, Rembau, Kuala Pilah and Jempol will experience temporary water supply disruption on Nov 1 and 2 due to maintenance work at the Sungai Linggi and Jelai water treatment plants.
Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS), in a media statement today, said the water supply disruption in Port Dickson, Seremban and Rembau would be for 24 hours from 8 am on Nov 1, while in Kuala Pilah and Jempol, also for 24 hours from 9am the same day.
The maintenance work is part of the continuous efforts by SAINS to improve the quality of water supply for consumers, it said.
The areas that will be affected in Port Dickson are from Escort Estate, Kampung (Kg) Sawah Sunggala, Bandar Sunggala, Taman (Tmn) Sirusa Jaya Batu (Bt) 6, Jalan (Jln) Pantai, Bt 5 Jln Pantai, Bt 5 Jln Pantai army camp, Bt 4 Jln Pantai army camp, Kg Baru Sirusa, Jln Sua Betong, Tmn Desa PD, Kg Barisan, Air Kuning up to Tampin Linggi.
It will also affect areas at Bt 4, Jln Pantai, Kg Bagan Pinang, Tmn PD Utama, Tmn Raja Zainal, Tmn Too Kee Kah, Transit Kuarters, Jln Shell Refinery, Happy Garden, Bt 1 and Jln Pantai up to Pekan Port Dickson.
From Pekan Port Dickson, the areas that will be affected are Jln Lama, Kg Chokra, Tmn Muhibah, Tmn Puteri, Kg Arab, Tmn PD Akasia, Kg Air Meleleh, Kg Gelam, Tmn PD Tropika, Tmn Sri Mawar, Jln Bypass, Kg Paya, Tanjung Gemok, Tmn Kiara, Tmn Sri Intan, Tmn Ria, Tmn Negeri Lama and Baru, Tmn Pantai Mas, Kg Kuala Lukut, Bandar Dataran Segar, Tmn Sentosa Lama and Baru, Tmn PD Jaya, Tmn Naga, Tmn Indah Baru, Tmn Bandar Baru, Tmn Indah Wang, Tmn Aman, Tmn Bukit Tinggi, Rumah Rakyat Pekan Lukut, Tmn Desaru, Sri Parit, Tmn Indah Jaya, Lukut Indah Industrial Area, Tmn Wawasan, Tmn Jaya and Tmn Tun Sambathan.
The water supply disruption will also affect consumers in Pekan Lukut up to Spring Hill, Bt 6 Jln Seremban and Bt 7 Jln Seremban to the Siliau intersection, as well as from Bukit Palong, Tmn Lukut Makmur, Tmn D'Pinggiran Kota, Tmn D'Ambang Kota, Perindustrian Perdana Bukit Palong, Kebun Jimah, Jimah Lama, Kg Cina Site C Tanah Merah, Tmn Jimah Jaya, Tanah Merah Site C, Bukit Pelandok and Chuah.
