Water supply restoration work in Ampang in full swing

Air Selangor Group Corporate Communications head Amin Lin Abdullah said repair work was being intensified but the company could not determine when water supply would be fully restored.

"Every effort is being made to speed up the restoration process," he said in a statement today.

Amin Lin said the water supply disruption affected 17 areas including Kampung Tasek Permai, Kampung Ampang Campuran, Taman Permai Jaya Ampang, part of Kampung Ampang Indah, Kampung Tasek Tambahan, Taman Sri Bayu Ampang, Taman Sri Raya Ampang and Taman Faizura Ampang.

Taman Bukit Ampang, Kampung Muhibah, Taman Sri Watan, Taman Desa Ampang/Taman Sri Ampang, Taman Halaman Kesuma, Taman Dagang Permai, Ampang Waterfront and AEON Big Ampang were also affected.

According to Amin Lin, water supply was being delivered through water tankers to the affected areas and consumers could request for assistance by sending a SMS to 15300 (type: Tanker Name and Address).
