The restoration of water supply to all areas affected by the maintenance work at the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Main Entry Substation in Bukit Badong, Hulu Selangor, has been completed in just three days and not six, as initially scheduled.
Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said based on the report he received from Air Selangor as at 7 am today, the water supply to all affected areas in Zone 1 was 100 per cent restored, while in Zone 2, 99.5 per cent restored.
"I would like to express gratitude to the staff of Air Selangor who worked hard to restore the water supply to all affected areas in the shortest possible time.
"The comfort of the consumers remain the state government's priority, especially during this festive season and school holiday," he said in a statement here today.
As such, Mohamed Azmin also said that the state government would continue monitoring the situation to ensure that sufficient supply of clean water for consumers in the Klang Valley. - BERNAMA
