Water supply restored in most affected areas in Klang Valley
Air Selangor says there will be no water disruption this Sept 27 to 28 in the Klang Valley, as announced earlier.
About 56 percent of the areas that have been experiencing water disruption in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling have started receiving water supply, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said.
Its corporate communications department head, Amin Lin Abdullah, said for areas still affected by supply disruption, they will continue to receive their supply via mobile water tanks.
"As of now, water supply at 56 percent of the affected areas has been restored. We will continue to send relief water supply via tankers to the other areas," he told Astro AWANI when contacted.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Amin said there will be no water disruption on Sept 27 to 28 in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling as announced earlier, because the planned works for equipment replacement have been postponed until further notice.
