Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim believes that donning the headscarf is a Muslim woman’s right.
On the show Obviously Harith Iskander Saturday night, the Johor Crown Prince said women shouldn’t be judged by their decision to wear or not to wear a headscarf.
“In our religion, no one has the right to judge another person. No one can say if you’re going to Heaven or Hell. That’s up to God.
“Yes, my wife and sister don’t wear tudung. It’s up to them, it’s their right. Everybody has their own rights.
“But they’re not doing anything inappropriate. They just choose not to wear tudung. That is matter between them and God.
“I don’t understand why some people are so judgmental about it,” he said.
