WESTIN Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, is celebrating World Sleep Day on March 14 with a series of wellness-driven initiatives across its Asia Pacific properties, excluding China, the company announced.
As part of its "Busy Resting" campaign, launched in January, Westin is reinforcing the importance of rest as an essential part of well-being. The brand, known for pioneering sleep-focused hospitality with its Heavenly Bed® since 1999, continues to expand its Sleep Well program with offerings like a Sleep Well Menu and Sleep Well Lavender Balm to enhance guests' relaxation.
“Westin has been among hospitality’s global leaders in well-being, consistently empowering guests to enhance their routines while on the road,” said John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer for Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC).
Sleep-Focused Experiences Across Malaysia
Westin hotels in Malaysia are rolling out special wellness programs, including in-room sleep infusion tea experiences and exclusive ‘Celebrate Rest’ room offers.
The Westin Kuala Lumpur is offering a premium sleep kit featuring lavender-infused products handmade by local indigenous artisans, along with a “Heavenly Sleep” pop-up at the 443 Lounge.
The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa is enhancing stays with sleep-promoting cuisine, Lavender Balm in every room, and a restorative spa therapy featuring ginger and kaffir lime treatments.
The Westin Desaru Coast Resort is providing a Sleep Well Kit with chamomile tea and lavender-infused cookies, along with guided meditation sessions and complimentary head and shoulder massages in the lobby.
With a growing demand for sleep tourism and wellness travel, Westin aims to solidify its position as a leader in holistic hospitality.
