Wet and windy weather across M'sia to last till 4 pm

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds warning for most states across Malaysia till 4 pm today.
In a statement issued this afternoon it listed some of the affected places as Langkawi, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu in Kedah; Penang; and Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Hilir Perak and Batang Padang in Perak.
While in the south, stormy weather will affect Gombak and Hulu Langat in Selangor; Kuala Lumpur; Negeri Sembilan; Melaka; and Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat and Kluang in Johor.
On the east coast, wet conditions will be experienced in Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu, Marang and Dungun in Terengganu; Cameron Highlands in Pahang; Limbang in Sarawak; and Sipitang, Tenom and Nabawan in Sabah.
