When was the last time you took a walk in KL?
Think walking around the Kuala Lumpur city is inconvenient and will leave you hot and bothered? Well, think again!
The Performance Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu) has come up with a video showing how Malaysians can walk in the city without breaking a sweat, by utilising the readily available walkways and skybridges.
Follow Kopitiam Ekonomi author Umapagan Ampikaipakan as he travels from Ampang Park to KLCC to Pavilion by foot and LRT, saving money and time in the process.
Umapagan shows you exactly how to arrive at your destination without a hair out of place as the walkways are fully air conditioned.
One of the pedestrian walkway that he used was the one linking KLCC and Bukit Bintang.
The walkway includes a 562m long and five-metre wide elevated walkway that traverses through the busy areas of Jalan Pinang, Jalan Perak and Jalan Raja Chulan with escalator and staircase entry and exit points at strategic and convenient locations.
It links the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to Impiana KLCC Hotel, and the hotel to the Pavilion bridge crossing at Bukit Bintang.
