Wife of Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief dies

The wife of Kuala Lumpur deputy police Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh died of lung cancer at the Universiti Malaysia Medical Centre at around 6.30pm today.

Datin Raj Kaur Harbhajan Singh, 49, who had been suffering from the illness the past three years, was an Additional Mathematics at Sekolah Menengah Convent Klang, here.

Harpreet Singh, 20, their eldest son, said his mother was a graduate of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and had married his father 22 years ago.

Harpreet Singh, has two other siblings, Harprem Singh, 19, and Anilpren Singh, 17.

He added that her remains would be cremated at the Klang Crematorium at Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah at 2.30pm tomorrow.
