Win! Paco Rabanne Olympea Worth RM5,447
Architect by training, designer by passion and a perfumer on the forefront, Paco Rabanne has always been synonymous with boldness and modernism. Radical, sensual fashion that defies standards and uniformity, Paco Rabanne is fashion where art, craftsmanship and boldness come together in total harmony and fusion.
Since 1969, Paco Rabanne’s leading-edge and innovative fragrances have accompanied both men and women through a spectrum of their fantasies. 2015 is the time for Paco Rabanne to form a new story. Maybe absolute fantasies of women were to be the one? The one chosen over all else, the one who surpasses ordinary mortals with their success and confidence. She is a woman that doesn’t have to choose between beauty and intelligence, making her an exceptional specimen. With Olympéa, Paco Rabanne writes a new chapter which is incredibly feminine and faithful to his innovative values.
The idea is of a modern-day Cleopatra, someone who is the queen of queens, the woman of all victories and an absolute icon. The bottle was created by Marc Ange, designer originally from Rome and features this same bipolarity in the bold combination of traditional codes with ultra-contemporary aesthetic. Horizontally the ring on the bottle evokes the laurels of victory. Vertically, this signature brings to mind the wings of Greek statues, Nike – who in Greek mythology was a goddess personifying Victory of all conquests.
The bottle displays the wings of victory, the case displays the character of Olympéa: the feminine expression of conquest, reflected in the pale pink, pure white and pink gold tones. Olympéa carries us on a unique olfactory adventure, at the crossroads between the sensuality of a salty vanilla accord and the freshness of floral notes. A fresh oriental in which green mandarin awakens the senses, boosted by the floral and aquatic essences of ginger lily and hydroponic jasmine – which is jasmine flowers grown in water. The sensual and luminous salty vanilla accord brings carnal and addictive magnetism. The cashmere wood and Ambergris accord magnify the fragrance and form a divine and powerful trail.
Paco Rabanne launched their new feminine fragrance in August 2015 and Olympéa represents the equivalent of the masculine edition Invictus from 2013, inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory. The beautiful face of the perfume is Brazilian model Luma Grothe. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.
