Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s minor surgery gained the attention of its neighbour, the Republic of Singapore.

Its leader Lee Hsien Loong through his official Twitter account wished Najib well.

“Glad to hear your procedure today was successful. Wishing you a speedy recovery and see you soon,” he tweeted on Saturday.

Earlier, Najib successfully underwent a minor surgery to remove a small benign growth on his right hand in Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL)



HKL in a statement said Najib underwent the operation as an out patient and the prime minister has returned home to rest.

Local netizens also wished the prime minister a speedy recovery.
