Wisma Putra: No Malaysians affected in Boston
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to monitor the latest development in Boston after a series of explosions occured near the finishing line of Boston Marathon near Copley Square.
During the incident on Monday (New York time), three people were killed, 134 people injured, 17 in a critical conditions and 25 in serious conditions
In a press statement issued by the ministry, no Malaysians have been reported to be affected by the bombings.
Early report indicated that the bombings were using small devices and there were no signs of high grade explosives. Local police initially reported a third explosion occurred at John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, but later said it was related to a fire.
