Wisma Putra: No Malaysians involved in London fire
The London Ambulance Service said 50 people had been taken to five hospitals as of 8am.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today confirmed that no Malaysians were involved in the early Wednesday morning blaze at Grenfell Tower, North Kensington, London.
However, the ministry advised Malaysians who are present or residing nearby the affected areas and require consular assistance to reach out to the High Commission of Malaysia in London as follows: -

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveys it's deepest sympathy towards the victims affected in the incidents," it said.
According to news report the 27-storey apartment block was razed by fire, believed to have started shortly before 1am local time while more than 250 firefighters battled to rescue the residents with 100 policemen and 100 medics also present at the scene.
Police confirmed that there were "a number of fatalities" while the London Ambulance Service said 50 people had been taken to five hospitals as of 8am.
