Witness share horrifying tale of DUKE accident

Muhd Zaki Abdullah was driving home on the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) highway past midnight o Saturday.

He was about to make a turn at the Gombak exit when he noticed several Myvi cars driving at breakneck speed on the highway.

“I was driving in the middle lane. Within split seconds, I saw a four-wheel drive vehicle, Pajero driven by the victim started to spin when the driver and the other passengers were thrown out of the car.

“A Myvi car from the right lane hit the Pajero and when the Pajero veered to avoid the car, another Myvi slammed into it from the left which caused the car to spin instantly," he told during a phone interview with Astro AWANI.

He said, then man died on the spot while the woman and their baby was in a coma.

“Other witnesses carried the infant to the side except for the body of the man and the woman,” he shared.

The victims were later identified as Fairuz Nizam Husain, 35, his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 25, and their seven-month daughter Nur Firuza Annisa.
