The 37-year-old woman detained by the police following a road crash which killed Baling Narcotics chief ASP Mohd Noor Mat Yaub and his wife yesterday tested positive for drug, Baling district police chief Supt Sharifudin Yusof said.
He said the woman, from Baling and was at the wheel of a Toyota Hilux which was also involved in the crash, would be brought to the Baling Magistrate''s Court today for the police to obtain a remand order .
The woman tested positive for methamphetamine, he said when contacted here today.
In the 7.15 am incident yesterday, Mohd Noor and his wife, Suriya Abdul Rahman, 37, were killed in a road crash at Kampung Teluk Teduri, Baling, when a Toyota Passo car they were travelling in with their children were hit from behind by another car.
However, the children survived the crash.
