Woman dies after motorcycle hits wild boar

A cleaning lady was killed when her motorcycle hit a wild boar which was crossing the road in Pendang Tuesday.
Pendang District Police chief DSP Fadzil Hashim said Aishah Mat, 47, was heading to work at Pokok Tai Matriculation College from her house in Kampung Lubok Ular, Bukit Jenun, when the mishap occurred in Jalan Jenun at 7.50 am.
"When she arrived at the scene, she lost control of the machine and could not avoid hitting the boar, causing her to be thrown onto the road.
"She died on the spot due to severe head injuries," he said when contacted by Bernama here.
The body was taken to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital for post mortem.
