Woman found wandering the streets of Penang naked

A woman, believed to be mentally unstable, was found wandering the streets naked in Penang early Sunday morning.
Police responded to the incident exposure call at 8.45am where they found the woman completely nude walking on Jalan Pondok Huta at Balik Pulau.
Balik Pulau district police chief Inspector Khudri Sulaiman said with the assistance of the public, three of his officers were able to gain control of the woman and cover her body.
After her details had been taken, the woman was transported to the Jalan Perak Hospital for treatment.
The incident had been confirmed by Southwest district OCPD Supt Lai Fah Hin.
Meanwhile the woman who was found praying on a flyover near the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka building in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday is still being warded at the psychiatric ward for further treatment.
Until today no family members or any acquaintances have come forward.
Hospital staff are also under strict orders from the management to not divulge any details about the woman’s condition to the media.
