A woman died after falling from the hillside in Jalan Bukit Permai 1, Taman Bukit Permai, here early this morning after a quarrel with her boyfriend.
Ampang police deputy chief, Supt Nazri Nawawi said the incident occurred at about 12.50am.
"Before the victim fell, a witness saw them quarreling and it was believed the 35-year-old man slapped the victim in her 20's, causing her to plunge 24-metres below," he said when contacted by Bernama today.
Following the incident, the man was held for further investigations while the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
Nazri said the victim's body had been sent to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for post-mortem.
